Ciara has finally sorted out what her second single should be from her now PLATINUM album, "Ciara: The Evolution". And I'm a so glad to say that it is "Like A Boy". She will shoot the video for "Like A Boy" mid-January, and the track, as well as the video, is scheduled to hit airwaves in early February. You can download the whole song

Sometimes I wish I could act like a boy!"
Ciara will 'Get Up' To Save Music
Ciara is using her voice to help kids find theirs — through music. The singer is headlining the fourth annual VH1 Save the Music Hamptons Benefit, set for July 28 at the East Hampton home of Jaci and Morris L. Reid. Ciara, Lyfe Jennings and local musician Niki Jean will perform to support the Save the Music Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring music education programs in U.S. public schools.
P.S. You can view Ciara's "Get Up" video on YouTube right now!!! The video is HOT!!! But don't take my word for it, see for
Ciara just recently stated that she needed help to find a few dancers to appear in her new music video, entitled "Get Up". "Get Up" is a song off of the soundtrack of "Step Up", which is a new drama flick that will go into theaters August 11th. You can also download the song . She has also recently hosted the 19th Annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards in Los Angeles on June 26th. You can watch a clip of her talking about it
"Ring the alarm, the club is jumpin' now, so get up!"
Ciara's Secretive of the Next Album
Ciara wants to clear up a rumor about her upcoming second album. "I always say I want to do Goodies to the 10th power, but the title is not going to be 'Goodies' again," Ciara told MTV News at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards earlier this month. "I have to make that clear because somebody wrote somewhere that I called it Goodies to the 10th Power or something crazy, but I'm like, 'No, no way!'" Ciara has an idea of what the title will be, although she wasn't ready to share it just yet — and she wasn't willing to elaborate too much about the music or her collaborators, either. "You tryin' to get too much information and I can't tell you!" she exclaimed. "But I will say that Jaz is going to be involved in this project, that's a given," she confirmed, referring to her mentor, Jazze Pha...
Award Winning Superstar, Ciara, was honored Monday night with 3 awards at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Los Angeles for her chart topping singles "1, 2 Step", "Goodies" and "Oh" from her Multi-platinum selling debut album "Goodies." After bursting onto the scene in 2004, Ciara quickly rose to the top of the charts, selling over 3 million albums which produced three #1 singles, "Goodies", "1, 2 Step and "Oh," in addition to two #1 collabos, "Like You" w/ Bow Wow and "Lose Control" w/ Missy Elliot. To date, Ciara has received over 35 award nominations and wins total, which include accolades from the Grammy Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Billboard Awards, American Music Awards and BET Awards to name a few...
"Bring It On" brought in millions by exposing the sassy lives of sexy cheerleaders. "Stick It" is currently earning high scores for its eye-popping portrayal of cut-throat, leotard-flaunting gymnasts. With people finally appreciating the high-demand lives of women who are both athletes and students, some say, "Give us 'All You've Got'".
Now a pop singer with delicious "Goodies" and a "Napoleon Dynamite" dork are all too happy to oblige. "The one thing about this to me is that it's real," Ciara said of her acting debut in the offbeat volleyball drama "All You've Got," which lands on DVD May 23. "It's a coming-of-age movie, and I think it talks about things teenagers go through." The film tells the story of upper-class high school volleyball players who, after a fire scorches their campus, are forced to relocate to their rivals' school in the barrio...
The fireworks' return coincides with one of the other major changes involving the festival: the return of the area's biggest music festival from the Capitol to the riverfront. "Because of where Jubilee was located last year, we really couldn't have them (fireworks) in a place that was visible," said 2006 Jubilee chairman Robbie Broach at a Thursday news conference.
"But this year we'll be having them on Friday during the Neville Brothers performance - it doesn't get any better than that." Marianne McLeod, executive director of the Memorial Day weekend festival, believes people will be excited about this year's acts, which include Ciara, Bo Bice, Jeffrey Osborne, Dwight Yoakam, Live, Sara Evans, Billy Currington, Foghat, John Kay and Steppenwolf, and Keith Anderson...
